投稿摘要: Approximately 4 million people each year in the world receive an indwelling urinary catheter (IUC) (from CDC reports). Indeed, the leading nosocomial infections are UTIs, and 80% of then had IUCs. IUC related are associated with increased morbidity, mortality, length of stay, and costs.
