投稿標題(英): Improving Influenza Vaccination Rates among Health Care Worker

投稿摘要: Objective:To improve the vaccination rate among healthcare workers(HCWs).Material and Methods:In January 2011,we conducted a questionnaire survey for 310 employees who did not receive influenza vaccine in 2010.281 participates were completed and enrolled for further evaluation.Overall,the 3 reasons most frequenty cited by HCWs for nonvaccination were doubt about vaccine efficacy,insuffiency available time and pregnancy or breast feeding.In September 2011,staff member were educated about the flu risk and vaccine process. We also create mobile carts to administer the flu vaccine at HCW workstation and outside of departmental meeting. Other interventions included public announcements of flu vaccine distribution, reminder notices were sent by e-mail and provided second injection time. Results: The influenza vaccination protoccol was in effect from Oct 3-7,2011 and second round was from Oct 24-28,2011, coverage rates of vaccination among HCWs have increasing from 70.1% in 2010 to 81.2% in 2011.Conclusion: Education and mobile carts systems can improve influenza vaccination rates among HCWs.
